Biogen Carbogen Carbo Loader primarily consists of complex carbohydrates (long chain glucose polymers), and pure crystalline fructose. After ingestion, carbohydrates are converted to glycogen and stored in the muscles and liver to be used as fuel. Muscle Glycogen is the highest energy fuel in the body. As the level of glycogen declines, so does the level of performance.
Biogen Carbogen Carbo Loader is enhanced by the inclusion of antioxidants to fight harmful free radicals which are formed during intense exercise and cause fatigue and muscle tissue breakdown. Overtraining syndrome can also be prevented, by replacing adequate electrolytes, phosphates and amino acids, which are all present in Carbogen.

| Pre-event carbo-loading: Mix two rounded scoops in 750ml of cold water. Take 2-3 servings per day, in the 2-3 prior to an endurance event. During training: Mix 2 rounded scoops in 500ml to 750ml water. Begin drinking 20 to 30 minutes into exercise. Consume 100ml every 15 to 20 minutes. Have an another full serving directly after exercise. During events: Mix two slightly rounded scoops with 750ml of cold water. Begin drinking 20 to 30 minutes into exercise. Consume 150ml every 15 to 20 minutes. Have another full serving directly after exercise and sip slowly over 30 to 50 minutes. |
