Biogen Cytogen has been formulated to increase and maintain energy levels for the duration of a training session or competition. L-Glutamine has been included as it has been shown to reduce lactic acid build up, as well as assist in the prevention of muscle soreness and cramping during and after exercise. Guarana has also been added due to its ability to stimulate the central nervous system, increase the release of adrenalin and spare glycogen. Chromium was included as it has been shown to help maintain blood glucose levels.

Biogen Cytogen is enhanced by the inclusion of antioxidants to help neutralize harmful free radicals which are formed during intense exercise and cause fatigue and muscle tissue breakdown. Also present in Cytogen are electrolytes, phosphates and amino acids to replenish what is lost during exercise, improve performance and prevent overtraining syndrome.
