Vitargo® is a patented carbohydrate with unique properties, specially developed for elite athletes to give an effective loading of easily accessible muscle energy (glycogen) in the body. Vitargo ® is a considerably larger carbohydrate than ordinary carbohydrates used in sports drinks – the molecular structure reminds of glycogen in the liver and muscle. It has been clinically tested, showing a 70% quicker replenishment of glycogen levels and an 80% quicker passing rate through the stomach (within 10 minutes), compared to the normal combinations of complex glucose polymers. This means faster recovery, no stomach distress (bloating or heaviness) prior to and during events/training, and glycogen levels will be replenished in the fastest most effective way.

Directions of Use

Fill a shaker bottle with 200ml of room temperature / tepid water. Add 2 level scoops (50g) of Vitargo and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Add 500 - 600ml of cold water and shake vigorously for 15 – 20 seconds.

Pre- or during training/competition

Mix 1-2 level scoops of Vitargo as described above, or into a highly diluted energy/electrolyte drink or pre-training supplement. Recommended intake for endurance events/training (90 min +) is 50g per hour. Should be alternated or combined with electrolyte containing drinks to ensure electrolyte replacement.
Note that Vitargo’s unique molecular viscosity makes it thicker than other carbohydrate drinks, so add more water if preferred.

Post training/competition

Take 2 level scoops as soon as it is possible after finishing (within 30 minutes). For optimal recovery, take another serving 30 – 90 minutes after your first serving.
