Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio is arguably the best in South Africa, and one of the top 10 in the world for Ladies cycling. A proud advocate for women in sport, and amongst others is a proud holder of some of the below titles and achievements; top 10 Olympian, African Road Cycling Champion, South African Road Cycling Champion, multiple winner of top SA races including the likes of the 94.7 Cycle Challenge and Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Ashleigh started cycling in 2008 while studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch. It was through her husband Carl Pasio (a successful cyclist and mountain biker himself); that she discovered a love for endurance sport. “After initially trying out triathlon and duathlon, I struggled with running induced injuries, so decided to focus on cycling, a decision I will never regret!” says Ash.

Having ridden for top teams around the world (Nashua Ladies, Toyota Cycle Lab, Momentum Ladies, Biogen-Momentum, Lotto Belisol – Belgium – and most recently Bigla Pro Cycling in Italy), Ashleigh has been one of Biogen’s longest standing ambassadors and is a true testament to the #beyourbest philosophy. With her continued podiums and top results on the international scene Ashleigh continues to work her way up the international rankings. In 2010 she was ranked 289th in the world, at the end of 2011- 39th, 2012-18th and now in 2016, currently 10th in the world – The best ranking a South African road cyclist has ever achieved.
