Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide (a form of carbohydrate) that is rapidly converted into glucose in the blood stream, providing a quick source of energy. Maltodextrin is derived from a variety of starch products of which maize is the most common.

Mix +/- 1 slightly rounded scoop (52g) with zero carbohydrate electrolyte drink of your choice.
Have one serving per hour of activity (lasting 90min+), and another within 30 minutes afterwards, or use as directed by a sports advisor.
