IRONMAN South Africa has created a public club on Strava where athletes can share their training statistics. The purpose of the group is to generate excitement, keep fit and create a healthy rivalry amongst the endurance athletes in South Africa. Members in the club also stand a chance to be rewarded for their training by winning various prizes.
How does the campaign work?
Endurance athletes using Strava are encouraged to join the IRONMAN South Africa digital training club on Strava (which is a free public group). IRONMAN South Africa have some exciting endurance-based challenges and goals for club members. The best performing club member (age-group athletes only) will be given a prize at the end of each challenge/goal. Athletes must be registered for a specific IRONMAN South Africa race to be eligible for a prize (each challenge/goal is linked to a specific IRONMAN South Africa race).
If the training challenge/goal is for the IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa race, you need to be entered for the IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa event to be eligible to win a prize. The winner will be announced on the IRONMAN South Africa Strava club and on the IRONMAN South Africa social media pages.
